בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ לְהַדְלִיק נֵר (שֶׁל שַׁבָּת וְ) שֶׁל יוֹם טוֹב
Transliteration
Baruch Atah Ado-nai Elo-heinu Melech ha-olam, asher kideshanu be-mitzvotav ve-tzivanu lehadlik ner (shel Shabbat ve-) shel Yom Tov.
Translation
Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to kindle the (Shabbat and) festival light.
On the first day of the festival (and outside the Land of Israel, on the second day as well), the following blessing is added:

Transliteration
Baruch Atah Ado-nai Elo-heinu Melech ha-olam, she-hecheyanu ve-kiyemanu ve-higianu la-zman ha-zeh.
Translation
Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the universe, Who has granted us life, sustained us and enabled us to reach this time.
