May it be Your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, to have compassion on all women giving birth among Your people Israel, including my wife (name and mother’s name), and ease the pains of her labor when she gives birth. May she give birth easily, without pain, and before she suffers labor pains may the newborn emerge for a good life and peace, at a good and fortunate hour for us and the newborn. May no calamity, harm or misfortune befall either her or the newborn, G-d forbid. G-d full of compassion, please show Your kindness to my wife named above. Save her from every pain, distress and sudden fear. May the placenta emerge at the proper time, and may she be healthy and able to serve You. G-d does not despise a broken and sorrowful heart. For the sake of the Name “Alef-Resh-Alef-Resh-Yud-Tav-Alef” (this divine Name is not pronounced aloud, but contemplated only), hear our prayers and respond to our requests, for You are compassionate and hear the prayers of every mouth.
