Master of the universe! I thank You for having compassion on me and granting my wife, Your servant, the conception of a child. May the Name of the L-rd be blessed and exalted above every praise and glorification. May it be Your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, to have compassion on all pregnant women among Your people Israel, ease the suffering of pregnancy and protect them from premature birth. In Your great kindness, save women in childbirth from every evil, and may they give birth for a life of well-being. Among them, please show Your mercy to Your servant, my wife (name), daughter of (mother’s name), and ease the suffering of her pregnancy. When her time comes, may she give birth easily and the newborn come into the world at a good and fortunate hour, for us and for the child. May neither mother nor child suffer any illness or injury. May the baby be complete in every limb and sense organ; appoint a good destiny for him and grant him a healthy constitution. May I rejoice in the child born of me and my wife rejoice in the fruit of her womb, in this world and the world to come. May we never be ashamed or disgraced, for we trust in Your holy Name, great, mighty and awesome. | רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם, מוֹדֶה אֲנִי לְפָנֶיךָ עַל שֶׁחוֹנַנְתָּנִי וְנָתַתָּ לַאֲמָתְךָ אִשְׁתִּי הֵרָיוֹן, יְהִי שֵׁם יְיָ מְבֹרָך וּמְרוֹמָם עַל כָּל בְּרָכָה וּתְהִלָּה. וּבְכֵן, יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְּפָנֶיךָ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ, שֶׁתְּרַחֵם עַל כָּל עֻבָּרוֹת עַמְּךָ יִשְֹרָאֵל, וְתָקֵל מֵעֲלֵיהֶן צַעַר עִבּוּרָן וְתַצִּילֵן שֶׁלֹּא תַפֵּלְנָה וְלָדוֹתֵיהֶן. וְהַיּוֹשְׁבוֹת עַל הַמַּשְׁבֵּר בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים תַּצִּילֵן מִכָּל רַע וְתֵלֵדְנָה לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים. וּבִכְלָלָן יֶהֱמוּ נָא רַחֲמֶיךָ עַל אֲמָתְךָ אִשְׁתִּי (פלונית בת פלונית) וְתָקֵל מֵעָלֶיהָ צַעַר עִבּוּרָהּ, וּבִמְלֹאת יָמֶיהָ לָלֶדֶת תֵּלֵד בְּנָקֵל, וְיֵצֵא הַוָּלָד לַאֲוִיר הָעוֹלָם בְּשָׁעָה טוֹבָה וּבְמַזָּל טוֹב לָנוּ וְלַוָּלָד. וְלֹּא יֶאֱרַע שׁוּם חלִֹי וְשׁוּם מוּם לֹא לַיּוֹלֶדֶת וְלֹא לַוָּלָד, וִיהִי הַוָּלָד שָׁלֵם בְּכָל אֵבָרָיו וּבְכָל חוּשָׁיו, וְתִגְזֹר עָלָיו גְּזֵרוֹת טוֹבוֹת וְיִהְיֶה בָּרִיא מַזָּלוֹ, וְאֶשְמַֹח אֲנִי בְּיוֹצְאֵי חֲלָצַי, וְתָגֵל אִשְׁתִּי בִּפְרִי בִּטְנָהּ בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה וּבָעוֹלָם הַבָּא, וְלֹא נֵבוֹשׁ וְלֹא נִכָּשֵׁל לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד, כִּי בְשֵׁם קָדְשְׁךָ הַגָּדוֹל הַגִּבּוֹר וְהַנּוֹרָא בָטָחְנוּ. אֵל מָלֵא רַחֲמִים, הִתְמַלֵּא בְרַחֲמִים עָלֵינוּ, חֲתֹם פֶּה שָֹטָן וְאַל יַשְֹטִין עַל אִשְׁתִּי בְּעֵת לִדְתָּהּ. וְכָל הַקָּמִים עָלֵינוּ, רָעָה תִּפֹּל עֲלֵיהֶם אֵימָתָהּ וָפַחַד בִּגְדֹל זְרוֹעֲךָ יִדְּמוּ כָּאָבֶן, מַהֵר יְקַדְּמוּנוּ רַחֲמֶיךָ, כִּי דַלּוֹנוּ מְאדֹ. בַּעַל הָרַחֲמִים, הִתְנַהֵג עִמָּנוּ בְּמִדַּת הַחֶסֶד וּבְמִדַּת הָרַחֲמִים וְתִכָּנֵס לָנוּ לִפְנַי וְלִפְנִים מִשּׁוּרַת הַדִּין, וְאַל תָּבוֹא בְּמִשְׁפָּט עִמָּנוּ, וְאַל תְּדִינֵנוּ כְּמַעֲלֵנוּ. עֲשֵהֹ עִמָּנוּ צְדָקָה וָחֶסֶד לְמַעַן שִׁמְךָ הַגָּדוֹל, וְתֵן לָנוּ חַיִּים אֲרכֻּים לַעֲבוֹדָתֶךָ, וּתְזַכֵּנוּ לִי וּלְאִשְׁתִּי שֶׁנַּזְקִין יַחַד בָּאָרֶץ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה בַּעֲבוֹדָתֶךָ, וְנִשְֹמַח בְּיוֹצְאֵי חֲלָצֵינוּ בִּרְאוֹתֵנוּ אוֹתָם עוֹשִיֹם רְצוֹנְךָ כִּרְצוֹנֶךָ. וְנַשְׁלִים תִּקּוּן נֶפֶשׁ רוּח וּנְשָׁמָה בְּגִלְגּוּל זֶה, וְנִזְכֶּה וְנִחְיֶה וְנִירַשׁ טוֹבָה וּבְרָכָה לְחַיֵּי הָעוֹלָם הַבָּא. לְמַעַן יְזַמֶּרְךָ כָבוֹד וְלֹא יִדֹּם, יְיָ אֱלֹהַי לְעוֹלָם אוֹדֶךָּ. עֲשֵֹה לְמַעַן רַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים, וּלְמַעַן אֲבוֹתֵינוּ הַקְּדוֹשִׁים, אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיִשְֹרָאֵל עֲבָדֶיךָ, וּלְמַעַן מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן, יוֹסֵף וְדָוִד, וּלְמַעַן כָּל הַצַּדִּיקִים זְכוּתָם יָגֵן עָלֵינוּ וְהֵם יָלִיצוּ טוֹב בַּעֲדֵנוּ. עֲשֵֹה לְמַעֲנְךָ לֹא לְמַעֲנֵנוּ, יִהְיוּ לְרָצוֹן אִמְרֵי פִי וְהֶגְיוֹן לִבִּי לְפָנֶיךָ, יְיָ צוּרִי וְגֹאֲלִי. | Ribono shel olam, mode ani lefanekha al shekhonantani venatata leamatkha ishti |
