Preparation
It's my fourth day of having a smoothie for breakfast. For me, as someone who doesn't like breakfast, it has turned out to be the perfect option.
It takes 5 minutes to make, but I can drink things that, in my right mind, I definitely wouldn't force down in the morning :)
I soak the chia seeds for about 15 minutes. Then I blend everything in a smoothie blender (you can also use a regular blender. People also recommend the “Ninja” blender. They say it grinds up everything, even tiny seeds).
As for how filling it is, if you add a small spoonful of tahini, flaxseeds or chia seeds, a little coconut cream, maca powder, or almond paste to your smoothie (not all together—take your pick), you'll stay full for half the day.
Good morning, and enjoy your meal!
