Preparation
These apple doughnuts definitely deserve a place in your collection of Hanukkah recipes! A truly extraordinary recipe—unbelievably delicious 😊. For all apple lovers:
Mix the flour, wine, sugar, zest, and cinnamon thoroughly, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Just before frying, beat the egg white until stiff and gently fold it into the batter.
Peel and core the apples, then slice them into rings. Coat the rings in flour, dip them in the batter, and deep-fry for a couple of minutes on each side. Roll the hot doughnuts in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
If you don't like cinnamon, add vanilla. No wine? No problem—you can replace it with juice (any kind).
Enjoy your meal!
