Preparation
Pan-fried cauliflower covered in tahini sauce—mmm... Healthy and delicious, a favorite dinner option!
Cut the head of cauliflower into flat slices 1.5-2 cm thick. (The leftover cauliflower can be used for soup, salad, or a purée.)
Place the slices in a preheated skillet with vegetable oil and fry over fairly high heat until the cauliflower is browned on both sides and cooked through. (This happens quickly, unlike when frying cauliflower simply broken into florets.)
Thin half a cup of tahini from the jar with the juice of half a lemon and water. Add the water gradually, stirring until smooth. Add salt and mix.
Pour the tahini over the cauliflower and add the finely chopped herbs: parsley and cilantro. Return the skillet to the heat for a few minutes. Done!
Enjoy your meal!
