Preparation
Recipe from the video How to Prepare for Shabbat in 2 Hours
Challah loaves made with this recipe do not require separating challah, since the dough contains less flour than the minimum amount required for reciting a blessing or separating challah without a blessing (the laws of separating challah are here).
Knead the dough and leave it to rise in a warm place for an hour. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide it into 6 pieces.
Shape 6 challah loaves, brush with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, etc., if you like, and bake at 190 degrees for half an hour.
Shabbat shalom, and enjoy your meal!Kitchen measures
