Preparation
These farmer's cheese candies with jam filling are very tasty and incredibly delicate. They make a perfect dessert for the festive Shavuot table.
The recipe makes a small batch, about 14 - 16 candies, so remember to multiply the ingredient quantities! ;)
First, beat the farmer's cheese with the sugar until smooth; you should end up with a smooth, uniform "cheese" mixture.
Now you'll need a pastry syringe or a piping bag. Fill it with the cheese mixture.
Take some firm jam (any kind will do—apricot, strawberry, apple...) or use homemade fruit jelly—and cut it into evenly sized cubes. Place the jam/fruit jelly cubes on a board and pipe the cheese mixture on top with a piping bag.
Now put the entire batch in the freezer to set.
When the farmer's cheese candies have set (after about half an hour), you can "dress" them in chocolate.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a water bath. To make it shinier and easier to work with, add vegetable oil - 1,5 spoonfuls per 1,5 bars of chocolate. Stir the hot melted chocolate and oil together until smooth.
In just 5 minutes, you can eat all these heavenly treats.

Try them—they're just sooo delicious!
