Preparation
Fish baked in tahini—another wonderful Israeli recipe to add to your collection!
Season the fish with salt and pepper, drizzle with lemon juice, and refrigerate for an hour.
Slice the onion and pepper, and dice the tomato. Melt the margarine and sauté the onion until golden.
Season with salt, pepper, and garlic, and add the soup powder. Pat the fish dry with a paper towel and briefly fry on both sides.
Place the cooked vegetables in an ovenproof glass dish and arrange the pieces of fish on top. Add salt and pepper, and drizzle with lemon juice.
Bake in the oven at 190-210 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Shortly before serving, pour the tahini over the fish and bake at 230-250 degrees until a golden crust forms.
Serve sprinkled with parsley.
