Ideas and recipes for colorful, delicious, and healthy treats for children that adults will enjoy too—HOW to make healthy ice cream:
In summer, you really want to treat your family and yourself to delicious ice cream, but unfortunately, everything you find in stores is far from a healthy option, and you have to limit how much you and your children have. Commercially produced ice cream contains huge amounts of sugar, trans fats, artificial flavorings and aroma additives, and it is better to do without it.
But how can you do without ice cream at the height of summer?!
I am continuing to add to the list of healthy treats for children that a mother can make in just a minute. Making healthy fruit ice cream couldn’t be simpler—you will need bananas cut into pieces and frozen in advance, and ANY fruit and berries you have at home!
Classic version (makes 6 servings of ice cream):
Blend everything in a blender and pour into molds. Then place the molds in the freezer for at least 2 hours (the time depends on your freezer).
Your little ones will love it :)
If you want to serve the ice cream as dessert at a festive meal, you can add heavy cream and a couple of squares of chocolate.
