Preparation
Winter is coming around again—and with it, time to add to our collection of hot chocolate recipes!
After all, what could be more pleasant than a cup of fragrant hot chocolate on a chilly, rainy day? This time, a recipe "for adults"—hot chocolate with cognac! So plan to make it at a time when you will not have to get behind the wheel after tasting it :)
The hot chocolate is very rich, so this recipe makes 4 tiiiny cups (or 2 regular ones, but who could manage them? ;-) )
Heat the cream, reduce the heat to its lowest setting, and add the chocolate broken into pieces. Melt the chocolate, stirring constantly. Once the chocolate has completely melted, add the coffee, sugar, and cinnamon. Continue stirring until the first bubbles appear, then remove from the heat. Pour the cognac into the hot chocolate, stir again, and pour into cups. Garnish with whipped cream (if desired, dust with cocoa powder).
