Prayer after separating challah — hafrashat challah

May it be Your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, that the Temple be rebuilt soon, in our days. Grant us a share in Your Torah, and there we shall serve You with awe, as in ancient days and former years. May the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasing to the L-rd, as in ancient days and former years.

May it be Your will, Almighty One, our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, that the commandment of separating challah be counted for me as having been fulfilled precisely in every detail. May the offering of this challah be like an offering brought upon the altar of the Temple and accepted by You with favor.
Just as, in the days of the Temple, challah was given to the kohanim and atoned for sin, may separating this challah atone for my sins. Then may I be as one newly born, free of sins and wrongdoing, able to fulfill the commandments of holy Shabbat and these festivals together with my husband (and our children), and may we draw our sustenance from the holiness of these days.
Through the merit of fulfilling the commandment of challah, may our children always receive their sustenance from the hand of the Holy One, blessed be He, in His great compassion and kindness and with great love. May fulfilling the commandment of challah be accepted as though I had given maaser, the tithe of the harvest.
As I fulfill this commandment wholeheartedly, may the compassion of the Holy One, blessed be He, be awakened, and may He protect me from trouble and illness all the days of my life. Amen!
