EnglishHebrewEnglish transliteration

Master of all worlds, compassionate and forgiving Father! Begin for us with a good sign and at a favorable hour the six working days coming to us in peace (if a festival falls on one of these days, say: the working days). May they be unstained by sin or transgression, pure of wrongdoing and wickedness, and filled with Torah study and good deeds. Grant us wisdom, understanding and knowledge from Yourself, and let us hear voices of joy and gladness in these days. Let envy directed against us enter no one’s heart, and let envy toward anyone enter no heart of ours.
Our King, our G-d, compassionate Father! Send blessing, well-being and success to all the work of our hands. Whoever devises good counsel or a good plan for us and for Your people, the house of Israel, strengthen, bless, exalt and grant life to him, and fulfill his purpose, as it is said: “May He grant you according to your heart and fulfill all your plans.” It is also said: “You will decree a thing and it will be established for you, and light will shine upon your paths.” Whenever harmful counsel or an evil plan is devised against us or against Your people, the house of Israel, may it be frustrated, as it is said: “The L-rd frustrates the plans of the nations and overturns the intentions of peoples.” It is also said: “Take counsel, and it will be frustrated; speak a word, and it will not stand, for G-d is with us.”
Open for us, L-rd our G-d, compassionate Father and forgiving Master, this week and every week, gates of light, gates of long days and years, gates of long life, gates of blessing, gates of understanding, gates of joy, gates of greatness, gates of redemption, gates of strength, gates of gladness, gates of knowledge, gates of glory, gates of splendor, gates of success, gates of prosperity, gates of a good encounter, gates of diligence, gates of song, gates of merit, gates of radiance, gates of the radiance of Torah, gates of the radiance of wisdom, gates of the radiance of understanding, gates of joy, gates of compassion, gates of favor and grace, gates of a good life, gates of wisdom, gates of elevation, gates of salvation, gates of atonement, gates of sustenance, gates of honor, gates of study, gates of food, gates of rest, gates of forgiveness, gates of knowledge, gates of consolation, gates of purity, gates of forgiveness, gates of heavenly assistance, gates of help, gates of liberation, gates of good livelihood and sustenance, gates of compassion and charity, gates of jubilation, gates of holiness, gates of uprightness and dignity, gates of compassion, gates of goodwill, gates of complete healing, gates of peace, gates of joy, gates of good news, gates of tranquility, gates of Torah, gates of prayer, gates of repentance, gates of salvation.
As it is said: “The salvation of the righteous is from the L-rd; He is their stronghold in times of distress. The L-rd helps and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, for they have trusted in Him.”
It is also said: “The L-rd has revealed His holy strength before the eyes of all nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our G-d.”
It is also said: “The voice of those awaiting You—they will raise their voices and sing joyfully together, for they will see with their own eyes the L-rd’s return to Zion.”
Fulfill for us, L-rd our G-d, what is written in Scripture: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who announces peace, proclaims good, announces salvation and says to Zion: ‘Your G-d reigns!’”
“The first [king who turns his heart] toward Zion—behold him; and behold them [those who come at his call]; and to Jerusalem I shall give a messenger.” Amen.
