Prayer for finding a good home

A prayer for finding a good home is one of the personal requests added to the regular daily prayer when needed. Anyone who has faced the problem of finding housing knows that one cannot do without help from Above here :). And we ask that the home we find be the most suitable for us, that the Almighty cleanse it of mazikim and any other harmful influences, and that living there bring us only good. This petition was composed by Rabbi Mutzafi.

May it be Your will, L-rd my G-d and G-d of my ancestors, to find me a home that is good, beautiful and comfortable, where my family and I may settle soon. May its air be clear and pure, may it be neither cold nor damp, and may sunlight enter it at sunrise and sunset. May it benefit us, our health and every good undertaking. Hasten to cleanse this home, its rooms and every corner from harmful spirits, the evil eye, and every kind of harm or defect, through the power of Your holy Name arising from the verse:
“When the Ark set out, Moses would say: ‘Arise, L-rd, and let Your enemies be scattered, and those who hate You flee before You.’ When it rested, he would say: ‘Return, L-rd, to the countless thousands of Israel.’”
“Let G-d arise and His enemies be scattered, and those who hate Him flee before Him.”
Fulfill for us the verse in which it is written:
“No misfortune shall befall you, and no plague shall approach your dwelling.”
“How good are your tents, Jacob, your dwellings, Israel.”
Amen; may this be Your will!
