Молитва о нахождении жены из книги Бейт тфила (בית תפילה) для ежедневного произнесения. Наши мудрецы сравнивают женщину с сокровищем, а мужчину - с искателем сокровища. Искать свою суженую, прикладывая все усилия для того, чтобы найти свою пару - заповедь из Торы, обязывающая каждого мужчину. Он должен быть готов отправиться за своей драгоценной половиной хоть на край света - точно так же, как ищущий сокровище не остановится перед далекими расстояниями и другими препятствиями. И конечно, он должен обращаться к Творцу мира с просьбами об успехе в этом поиске!

Master of the universe! In Your kindness You created the universe and the human being, made a helper for him, sanctified us with Your commandments and commanded me to marry so that children might be born. Blessed is He who formed the human being and created everything for His honor. Yet my distress is great, and fear and trembling seize me. I fear that my sins might cause me to receive an unsuitable wife who is neither destined for me nor fitting for me; that another might marry the woman destined for me before I do, and that one soul would have to displace another, G-d forbid. Therefore I have come with a broken and sorrowful heart to lay my supplication before You, compassionate Father. May it be Your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, to have compassion on me and send me a wife suited to me and destined for me since the six days of creation, for many years of life. May my destined wife be a woman of valor, G-d-fearing, wise, of good character and virtuous. May she not be barren, may she not lose her children, and may there be no defect in her. May she be complete and successful in everything, so that I may perform the holy service of the Almighty without obstruction. Do not take me from this world before my time or drive me away before anyone in the world. | רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם, בְּחַסְדְּךָ יָצַרְתָּ עוֹלָמְךָ וּבָרָאתָ אָדָם, וְעָשִֹיתָ לוֹ עֵזֶר, וְקִדַּשְׁתָּנוּ בְמִצְוֹתֶיךָ וְצִוִּיתָנוּ לִשָּׂא אִשָּׁה וּלְהוֹלִיד בָּנִים, בָּרוּךְ יוֹצֵר הָאָדָם שֶׁהַכֹּל בָּרָא לִכְבוֹדוֹ. וְאוּלָם גָּדַל צַעֲרִי, יִרְאָה וָרַעַד יָבֹא בִי, כִּי חוֹשְׁשַׁנִי לִי פֶּן יִגְרְמוּ עֲווֹנוֹתַי שֶׁתִּזְדַּמֵּן לִי אִשָּׁה רָעָה שֶׁאֵינָהּ בַּת זוּגִי וְאֵינָהּ הוֹגֶנֶת לִי, וּפֶן יַקְדִּימֵנִי אַחֵר לִיקַח אֶת בַּת זוּגִי, וְיִהְיֶה צָרִיך לִדְחוֹת נֶפֶשׁ מִפְּנֵי נֶפֶשׁ חָלִילָה, עַל כֵּן בָּאתִי בְּלֵב נִשְׁבָּר וְנִדְכֶּה לְהַפִּיל תְּחִנָּתִי לְפָנֶיךָ אָב הָרַחֲמָן,יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְּפָנֶיךָ ה׳ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ שֶׁתִּתְמַלֵּא בְרַחֲמִים עָלַי וְתַזְמִין לִי אֶת בַּת זוּגִי הַהוֹגֶנֶת לִי וּרְאוּיָה לִי מִשֵּׁשֶׁת יְמֵי בְרֵאשִׁית לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים וּשְׁנוֹת חַיִּים. וְתִהְיֶה בַת זוּגִי אֵשֶׁת חַיִל יְרֵאַת ה׳, בַּעֲלַת שֵֹכֶל, בַּעֲלַת מִדּוֹת טוֹבוֹת, בַּעֲלַת מַעֲשִֹים טוֹבִים, וְלֹא תִהְיֶה מְשַׁכֵּלָה וַעֲקָרָה וְלֹא בַעֲלַת מוּם, אֶלָּא שְׁלֵמָה בַכֹּל וּמֻצְלַחַת בַכֹּל, בְּאֹפֶן שֶׁאוּכַל לַעֲבֹד עֲבוֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ בְּלִי שׁוּם טִרְדָּה. וְאַל תִּקָּחֵנִי מֵהָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה קֹדֶם זְמַנִּי וְאַל תַּדִּיחֵנִי מִפְּנֵי שׁוּם אָדָם שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם.אֵל מָלֵא רַחֲמִים, מוֹשִׁיב יְחִידִים בַּיְתָה, רַחוּם,חַנוּן, שׁוֹמֵר, תּוֹמֵך, מַצִיל, יָשָר, פּוֹדֶה, עָזְרֵנִי עַל דְּבַר כְּבוֹד שְׁמֶךָ, עֲשֵֹה לְמַעַן רַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים, וּלְמַעַן אֲבוֹתֵינוּ הַקְּדוֹשִׁים: אַבְרָהָם, יִצְחָק וְיִשְֹרָאֵל עֲבָדֶיךָ, לְמַעַן מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן, יוֹסֵף וְדָוִד. וּלְמַעַן כָּל הַצַּדִּיקִים וְהַחֲסִידִים זְכוּתָם תָּגֵן עָלֵינוּ וְהֵם יַמְלִיצוּ בַּעֲדֵנוּ, עֲשֵֹה לְמַעֲנָךְ לֹא לְמַעֲנֵנוּ, עֲשֵֹה לְמַעַן שְׁמָךְ, עֲשֵֹה לְמַעַן יְמִינָךְ, עֲשֵֹה לְמַעַן תּוֹרָתָךְ, עֲשֵֹה לְמַעַן קְדֻשָּׁתָךְ, חָנֵּנִי וַעֲנֵנִי וּשְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי. כִּי אַתָּה שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלַּת כָּל פֶּה, בָּרוּךְ שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה. יִהְיוּ לְרָצוֹן אִמְרֵי פִּי וְהֶגְיוֹן לִבִּי לְפָנֶיךָ, ה׳ צוּרִי וְגֹאֲלִי. | Ribono shel olam, bekhasdekha yatsarta olamkha uvarata adam, veasita lo ezer, vekidashtanu |
