EnglishHebrewEnglish transliteration

May it be Your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, to be filled with compassion for us and to act in Your mercy, for the sake of Your holy Names written in these verses that I have recited before You, for the sake of Your holy Names concealed in these verses, and through the merit of these verses whose initial letters spell the name (the sick person’s name and the mother’s name). In Your abundant compassion, illuminate the roots of all the levels of his soul—nefesh, ruach and neshamah—connected with his name. Pour great abundance upon those roots from their source, so that they may illuminate, influence and strengthen the branches of all the levels of his soul, both within his body and around him. Remove from (name and mother’s name) all severe and harmful illnesses. Please, by the greatness of Your compassion, You who give life, grant him life, drive away affliction and heal him completely, for long days and years of life. May this be Your will!
