Молитва при входе в сукку произносится в первый раз, когда мы готовы выполнить заповедь "сидения в сукке", и затем каждый раз, когда мы заново заходим в сукку, собираясь сделать трапезу, перед приглашением ушпизин (некоторые следуют обычаю произносить эти молитвы только один раз в день). Есть также разные обычаи, какие части текста произносить. Затем говорят йеhи рацон, написанный ниже:

May it be Your will, our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, that Your Shechinah rest upon us. Spread Your shelter of peace over us through the merit of fulfilling the commandment of sukkah: to unite the Holy One, blessed be He, with His Shechinah in reverence and love, and to bring His Name Yud-Heh into complete unity with Vav-Heh on behalf of all Israel. Surround us with the radiance of Your holy and pure glory, so that it may shelter and rest upon us, as an eagle hovers over its nest, preparing to awaken its young. May vitality flow from the dwelling of Your glory to Your servant (name), son of (mother’s name), Your maidservant. As I leave my home and hasten on the path of Your commandment, count this to my merit as though I had gone into exile to atone for sins. Wash away the impurity of my wrongdoing completely and cleanse me of my sin. Hear abundant blessings from the exalted and faithful guests, the shepherds of Your people, and always give bread and water to the hungry and thirsty. Grant me the merit of sitting sheltered beneath Your wings on the day I depart this world, protected from punishments as from showers and rain when You rain burning coals upon the wicked. Count my fulfillment of the commandment of sukkah as though I had fulfilled every detail and law, observing every condition, and as though I had fulfilled all other commandments connected with it. Seal it with Your seal for our good. Grant us many days upon the earth, in the Holy Land, serving You and standing in awe of You.
