Псалом 127

Если дело не угодно Г-споду, не помогут никакие ухищрения. Но когда приходит помощь с Небес, все вершится как бы «само собой» – будто человек спит, а просыпается – дело сделано.

1. A Song of Ascents; of Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, They labour in vain that build it; Except the LORD keep the city, The watchman waketh but in vain. 2. It is vain for you that ye rise early, and sit up late, Ye that eat the bread of toil; So He giveth unto His beloved in sleep. 3. Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD; The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, So are the children of one's youth. 5. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them; They shall not be put to shame, When they speak with their enemies in the gate.	א שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת, לִשְׁלֹמֹה אִם-יְהוָה, לֹא-יִבְנֶה בַיִת-- שָׁוְא עָמְלוּ בוֹנָיו בּוֹ אִם-יְהוָה לֹא-יִשְׁמָר-עִיר, שָׁוְא שָׁקַד שׁוֹמֵר ב שָׁוְא לָכֶם מַשְׁכִּימֵי קוּם, מְאַחֲרֵי-שֶׁבֶת אֹכְלֵי, לֶחֶם הָעֲצָבִים כֵּן יִתֵּן לִידִידוֹ שֵׁנָא ג הִנֵּה נַחֲלַת יְהוָה בָּנִים: שָׂכָר, פְּרִי הַבָּטֶן ד כְּחִצִּים בְּיַד-גִּבּוֹר-- כֵּן, בְּנֵי הַנְּעוּרִים ה אַשְׁרֵי הַגֶּבֶר-- אֲשֶׁר מִלֵּא אֶת-אַשְׁפָּתוֹ, מֵהֶם לֹא-יֵבֹשׁוּ-- כִּי-יְדַבְּרוּ אֶת-אוֹיְבִים בַּשָּׁעַר	1. Shir hamaalot liShlomo; im A-doynoy lo yivne bayit, shav amlu vonav bo, im A-doynoy lo yishmar ir, shav shakad shomer. 2. Shav lakhem mashkimey kum, meakharey shevet, okhley lekhem haatsavim, ken yiten lidido shena. 3. hine nakhalat A-doynoy banim, sakhar pri habaten. 4. Kekhitsim beyad gibor, ken bney haneurim. 5. Ashrey hagever asher mile et ashpato mehem, lo yevoshu, ki yidabru et oyvim bashaar.
