Псалом 12

«Для восьмиструнной арфы» - раби Йеhуда сказал: в Храме играли на семиструнных арфах. Но в дни Машиаха будут использовать восьмиструнные. (ВТ Арахин, 13б)

1. For the Leader; on the Sheminith. A Psalm of David. 2. Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; For the faithful fail from among the children of men. 3. They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour; With flattering lip, and with a double heart, do they speak. 4. May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, The tongue that speaketh proud things! 5. Who have said: 'Our tongue will we make mighty; Our lips are with us: who is lord over us?' 6. 'For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise', saith the LORD; 'I will set him in safety at whom they puff.' . 7. The words of the LORD are pure words, As silver tried in a crucible on the earth, refined seven times. 8. Thou wilt keep them, O LORD; Thou wilt preserve us from this generation for ever. 9. The wicked walk on every side, When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.	א לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל-הַשְּׁמִינִית, מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד. ב הוֹשִׁיעָה יְהוָה, כִּי-גָמַר חָסִיד: כִּי-פַסּוּ אֱמוּנִים, מִבְּנֵי אָדָם. ג שָׁוְא, יְדַבְּרוּ--אִישׁ אֶת-רֵעֵהוּ: שְׂפַת חֲלָקוֹת--בְּלֵב וָלֵב יְדַבֵּרוּ. ד יַכְרֵת יְהוָה, כָּל-שִׂפְתֵי חֲלָקוֹת-- לָשׁוֹן, מְדַבֶּרֶת גְּדֹלוֹת. ה אֲשֶׁר אָמְרוּ, לִלְשֹׁנֵנוּ נַגְבִּיר--שְׂפָתֵינוּ אִתָּנוּ: מִי אָדוֹן לָנוּ. ו מִשֹּׁד עֲנִיִּים, מֵאֶנְקַת אֶבְיוֹנִים: עַתָּה אָקוּם, יֹאמַר יְהוָה; אָשִׁית בְּיֵשַׁע, יָפִיחַ לוֹ. ז אִמְרוֹת יְהוָה, אֲמָרוֹת טְהֹרוֹת: כֶּסֶף צָרוּף, בַּעֲלִיל לָאָרֶץ; מְזֻקָּק, שִׁבְעָתָיִם. ח אַתָּה-יְהוָה תִּשְׁמְרֵם; תִּצְּרֶנּוּ, מִן-הַדּוֹר זוּ לְעוֹלָם. ט סָבִיב, רְשָׁעִים יִתְהַלָּכוּן; כְּרֻם זֻלּוּת, לִבְנֵי אָדָם.	1. Lamnatseakh al hashminit mizmor leDavid. 2. hoshia A-doynoy, ki gamar khasid, ki fasu emunim mibney adam. 3. Shav yidabru ish et reehu, sfat khalakot, belev valev yidaberu. 4. Yakhret A-doynoy kol siftey khalakot, lashon medaberet gdolot. 5. Asher amru lilshonenu nagbir, sfateynu itanu, mi adon lanu. 6. Mishod aniyim, meenkat evyonim, ata akum yomar A-doynoy, ashit beyesha yafiakh lo. 7. Imrot A-doynoy amarot tehorot, kesef tsaruf baalil laarets,mezukak shivataim. 8. Ata A-doynoy tishmerem, titsrenu min hador zu leolam. 9. Saviv reshaim yithalakhun, krum zulut livney adam.
