Как грудной младенец безгранично доверяет матери, так уповал Давид на Г-спода.

1. A Song of Ascents; of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in things too great, or in things too wonderful for me. 2. Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother; My soul is with me like a weaned child. 3. O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and for ever.	א שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת, לְדָוִד יְהוָה, לֹא-גָבַהּ לִבִּי-- וְלֹא-רָמוּ עֵינַי וְלֹא-הִלַּכְתִּי, בִּגְדֹלוֹת וּבְנִפְלָאוֹת מִמֶּנִּי ב אִם-לֹא שִׁוִּיתִי, וְדוֹמַמְתִּי-- נַפְשִׁי כְּגָמֻל, עֲלֵי אִמּוֹ; כַּגָּמֻל עָלַי נַפְשִׁי ג יַחֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֶל-יְהוָה-- מֵעַתָּה, וְעַד-עוֹלָם	1. Shir hamaalot leDavid, A-doynoy lo gavah libi, velo ramu eynay, velo hilakhti bigdolot uveniflaot mimeni. 2. Im lo shiviti vedomamti nafshi kegamul aley imo, kagamul alay nafshi. 3. Yakhel Yisrael el A-doynoy, meata vead olam.

א שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת, לְדָוִד יְהוָה, לֹא-גָבַהּ לִבִּי-- וְלֹא-רָמוּ עֵינַי וְלֹא-הִלַּכְתִּי, בִּגְדֹלוֹת וּבְנִפְלָאוֹת מִמֶּנִּי ב אִם-לֹא שִׁוִּיתִי, וְדוֹמַמְתִּי-- נַפְשִׁי כְּגָמֻל, עֲלֵי אִמּוֹ; כַּגָּמֻל עָלַי נַפְשִׁי ג יַחֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֶל-יְהוָה-- מֵעַתָּה, וְעַד-עוֹלָם
