Псалом 54

Снова отряды царя Шауля окружали Давида, когда он скрывался в пустыне Зиф. Местные жители предали его и готовили ему западню. Но в любой беде Давид надеется на помощь Г-спода.

1. For the Leader; with string-music. Maschil of David: 2. when the Ziphites came and said to Saul: 'Doth not David hide himself with us?' 3. O God, save me by Thy name, And right me by Thy might. 4. O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth. 5. For strangers are risen up against me, And violent men have sought after my soul; They have not set God before them. Selah 6. Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is for me as the upholder of my soul. 7. He will requite the evil unto them that lie in wait for me; Destroy Thou them in Thy truth. 8. With a freewill-offering will I sacrifice unto Thee; I will give thanks unto Thy name, O LORD, for it is good. 9. For He hath delivered me out of all trouble; And mine eye hath gazed upon mine enemies.	א לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹת, מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִד. ב בְּבֹא הַזִּיפִים, וַיֹּאמְרוּ לְשָׁאוּל: הֲלֹא דָוִד, מִסְתַּתֵּר עִמָּנוּ. ג אֱלֹהִים, בְּשִׁמְךָ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי; וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ תְדִינֵנִי. ד אֱלֹהִים, שְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי; הַאֲזִינָה, לְאִמְרֵי-פִי. ה כִּי זָרִים, קָמוּ עָלַי-- וְעָרִיצִים, בִּקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי; לֹא שָׂמוּ אֱלֹהִים לְנֶגְדָּם סֶלָה. ו הִנֵּה אֱלֹהִים, עֹזֵר לִי; אֲדֹנָי, בְּסֹמְכֵי נַפְשִׁי. ז ישוב (יָשִׁיב) הָרַע, לְשֹׁרְרָי; בַּאֲמִתְּךָ, הַצְמִיתֵם. ח בִּנְדָבָה אֶזְבְּחָה-לָּךְ; אוֹדֶה שִּׁמְךָ יְהוָה כִּי-טוֹב. ט כִּי מִכָּל-צָרָה, הִצִּילָנִי; וּבְאֹיְבַי, רָאֲתָה עֵינִי.	La-mnatseakh bi-nginot maskil le-David. Be-vo ha-zifim va-yomru le-Shaul ha-lo David mistater imanu. Eloyhim be-shimkha hoshieni u-vi-gvuratkha tedineni. Eloyhim shma tfilati haazina le-imrey fi. Ki zarim kamu alay ve-aritsim bikshu nafshi lo samu Eloyhim le-negdam sela. hine Eloyhim ozer li A-doynoy be-somkhey nafshi. Yashiv ha-ra le-shoreray ba-amitkha hatsmitem. Bi-ndava ezbekha lakh ode shimkha A-doynoy ki tov. Ki mi-kol tsara hitsilani u-ve-oyvay raata eyni.
