The Month of Adar - How Can We Increase Joy?
Adar has arrived, and you "don't have the energy to rejoice" for a whole 2 months?! Then imagine if there had been 2 Nisans! :) Now, seriously:

Sefer Yetzirah states that each month corresponds to a particular organ. The month of Adar corresponds to the spleen.

Each organ corresponds to a particular emotion or sensation. Well, the spleen is linked to a sense of humor! It is precisely a sense of humor that allows us to connect with something that supposedly "cannot be." After all, humor can accommodate absolutely anything!

The joy we have been told to increase in Adar is the joy of connecting with the One Whom it can sometimes be so hard to sense... But not now!

If in Elul (before the physical creation of the world), the Creator goes out into the field, and all you need to do is come a little closer, then in Adar (before the "metaphysical" creation of the world), He comes to us Himself. Right into our homes, our souls, every cell of our bodies. Don't get in the way :)

And another thing: for anyone who rejoices throughout the 60 days of the two Adars, all their tzarot (troubles, misfortunes) "mitbatlim beshishim" (how would you say that in Russian? — are nullified through dilution in an amount 60 times greater than their own? :) )

And for those who still find it hard to rejoice, Rabbanit Mizrachi advises "marbin besimlah"—multiply your dresses! A new little dress will not, of course, bring happiness, but it will get you started in the right direction :) Chodesh tov!
