Prayers
Prayer is a conversation with the Almighty, the Creator of the world. Our tradition teaches that our prayers are needed first and foremost not by God, but by us. This is because sincere prayer is the most important means of connecting with the Source of life.

True Jewish prayer turns worlds upside down—both the spiritual worlds and our material world. Prayer can overturn decrees, work miracles, and change reality. For any of this, you need not be a great sage or an expert in Kabbalah—but you must address the Heavenly Father with complete sincerity, putting your heart into the words of prayer.

Our sages said: “The world stands on three foundations: Torah, service, and acts of kindness,” and they explain that service means prayer. Although Jewish law requires men to pray three times a day, prayer is actually a quintessentially feminine practice, closely connected to the essence of womanhood.

Here you will find special prayers for various situations in life, explanations, and articles about the power of prayer.
